Yikes...woke up very sore and stiff in the hands today. I'm pretty stumped. I have been careful and adding food slowly. I can't see the knuckle wrinkles on a few fingers so that's not good.
I have a very busy day of appts and clients, not to mention teaching a bootcamp class tonight so I'm going to go back to the food basics (and I mean basic) and I think tomorrow if I'm no better, I will go back to the bare bones and magnesium citrate to start fresh.
Growing up, I was an avid sleepwalker! My hubby thinks maybe I'm sleep eating!! Haha.
Here's my new list of basics:
coffee
carrots
celery
sweet potato
apples
rice protein with water
That's it! I still have a ton of faith in this process.... it just seems to be testing me. Eating out proves to be a bad idea.
Do you think it could be stress that brought this on? Or weather? :( Hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteHey Megan! I don't think it's stress.... I think it's all the corn that I realized is in my Vitamin D pills...I started taking 3 every night before bed. (just started this about a week ago so the timing works out) I've called Costco to verify but I think that's the issue. Thanks for your kind words!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOODNESS, Jen!! I'm so glad you told me that! I take the D3 vitamins from Costco... I haven't been taking them lately, but sure enough - I just double checked... CORN OIL! For a while there I was swelling/pain/achy for weeks at a time and couldn't figure out what it was. I have a really bad reaction to corn too. Thank you for telling me about this! I'm just sorry you had to have a reaction for all this to come together!
ReplyDeleteHEY! Well, the silly part is that I was warned to check my vitamins... and I'm so naive that when it doesn't actually say CORN, I think... ah, it's probably safe. I will be sure to check everything from here on in. I am going to try and find a better source for Vit D. I'm sure it will cost triple to Costco ones but it's worth it. I'm glad that you now know too!!
