Time to regroup!

My corn/ nacho chip test has sent me spinning out of control!  Eek.  That or the cheese that I've been having.  I know it's bad when I feel it in my feet.

It reminds me of when my RA first reared it's ugle head.  I was 18 and had just started working for a hi tech company.  Within days of starting I noticed me feet were really sore to walk on.  I limped around for months.  People would ask what was wrong and I would just shrug my shoulders and say I didn't know.

Anyway, like I always say- I know what I need to do to get back to good ;)

I did finally find some new Vitamin D pills.  I took Kat's advice and tried the NOW brand.  Nothing in it other than vit D and olive oil.  Thanks Kat!!  Hopefully that will make a difference in bringing down my inflammation.

My achilles is totally healed up.  I've hung up my running shoes (for now) and have been spinning everyday on my bike on a trainer.

Question for all you healthy eaters!!  I am looking for good tasting treats.  You know, something that is healthy but doesn't taste healthy.  I have come to terms with knowing that I'll likely not ever get to induldge in some of my faves (cheese, chocolate, warm bread with butter!) But I know there's some good stuff out there!  My current treats are apples and nuts (um, can you say boring!)  I also use unsweetened chocolate almond milk, and while I love it, it's getting a little old.
So...let me know what your treats are!!

  5. Oh, girl, I'm so sorry. How awful to have your feet hurting when you work so hard to eat well. I swear there's nothing worse than giving up chocolate and still suffering!! I'm afraid to try certain foods because of the tailspin they might send me into. Agave was one thing that set my feet on fire recently!

Checked out link Kat sent. Yum! If you can't do the cocoa in this recipe-maybe carob? I've been enjoying carob with some warmed up coconut milk. For snacks I eat celery and hummus, nut butters are yummy on brown rice cakes--sometimes for something sweet I drizzle a touch of honey on them.

Hope your feet calm down soon. Big hug!
